Regional Drought Meet-ups April 22/23

New speakers have been added to the agendas of EOTEC DevNet’s Regional Drought Meet-ups, scheduled for April 22–23. Confirmed presenters include:

  • UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology on HydroSOS, the ROBIN project and C3S Water Service
  • Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development
  • And at least two others TBC – check back for updates!

Session schedule:
🌍 Africa – April 22 (13:00–14:15 UTC)
🌎 Americas – April 22 (16:00–17:15 UTC)
🌏 Asia & Oceania – April 23 (04:00–05:15 UTC)
🌍 Europe – April 23 (13:00–14:15 UTC)

These twice-yearly, region-specific sessions connect drought experts, training providers, and practitioners to exchange on how Earth observations (EO) are being used to support drought monitoring, preparedness, and response.
