Strengthening Engagement: EOTEC DevNet’s 2025 Meeting Cadence

EOTEC announces a new engagement approach intended to strengthen our regional communities of practice (CoPs) by maximizing the quality and efficiency of our interactions. The aim is to leverage online and offline communications to enable higher quality meetings, more technical exchange and more efficient knowledge-sharing.

Key features of the approach include:

  • New CoP meeting formats with more technical content and interactive exchange
  • Regular drought working group meetings 2x/year
  • Webinars 2x/year
  • Reducing regional task team and flood working group meetings to 2x/year
  • Maintaining regular contact through interaction and online networking through the member platform, WhatsApp, newsletter, social media (links below!)

In practice, this means:

  • Regional task team meetings: 2x per year (March/September)
  • Regional flood working group meetings: 2x per year (January/July)
  • Regional drought working group meetings: 2x per year (April/October)
  • Webinars: 2x per year (June/November)
  • More conversations and updates on our member platform
  • Newsletter 3x/year
  • Daily social media on LinkedIn and X
  • Regular announcements and updates in WhatsApp group
