Highlights: July 2025 Flood Meet-ups

On July 9-10, 2025, EOTEC DevNet’s Regional Flood Working Groups gathered for virtual meet-ups across Africa, the Americas, Asia-Oceania, and Europe. More than 135 participants joined the exchanges on innovative approaches to flood forecasting, early warning, and anticipatory action.
Each regional session featured Spotlight presentations on EO-based tools and projects, as well as open discussions on data and tools accessibility, and how to connect communities with the right data and training.
We thank all presenters, Working Group leads, and participants for your ongoing contributions. Your expertise and collaboration are vital to improving flood resilience through Earth observation.
