π A New Tool for Finding Earth Observation Training: Demo at EOTEC DevNet Regional Roundtables March 18/19
Finding high-quality Earth observation (EO) training isnβt always easy. Courses, webinars, and learning platforms are spread across dozens of organizations, making it difficult for users to discover what already exists.
To help address this, EOTEC DevNet created a new online resource – Places to Find Training – which will be demonstrated at the 3rd Annual Regional Roundtables with EO Capacity Building Providers on March 18/19.
This new tool – still in beta – brings together platforms that host EO training and capacity-building resources, making them easier to explore and access. Users can search by applications, technologies and methods, and policy or decision-support themes – finding learning opportunities to match their needs and interests.
On March 18 and 19, each of EOTEC’s four regional communities of practice is hosting its own roundtable. The meetings will feature 4-6 globally and regionally-focused lightning talks from training providers sharing their 2026 training plans. Participants will also be invited to exchange insights on potential gaps and needs, new training topics, and best practices.
Join us to learn about 2026 opportunities and give feedback on the new Places to Find Training tool.
