Using the Copernicus Marine Data Stream for Ocean Applications

The purpose of this EUMETSAT Copernicus Marine Data Stream (CMDS) training course is to share knowledge, skills, resources and code so attendees are able to independently access and process Sentinel-3 data for their marine work-flows and applications.

Training will take place entirely online and through two phases. The first self-taught phase will take place between 28 September and 16 October and will take approximately 6-8 hours to complete. This will involve self-paced flexible learning through webinars, forums (particularly for software installations), documentation and assignments. The second online classroom phase will be held during the week 19 – 23 October and will be hosted over Zoom, made up of interactive tutorials, live demos, group work, and 1:1 meetings. This will require 5-7 hours of participation each day.
