Use of satellite products for drought monitoring and agro-meteorological applications

This course will be jointly organized by EUMETSAT and WMO with the cooperation of the European Union-Joint Research Centre (JRC), The UN-Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWSNET) and the United Nations University. The training will focus on developing skills for agro meteorological experts from the NMHSs and Ministries of Agriculture in the use of remote sensing products derived from operational meteorological or earth observation satellites to improve drought monitoring and agricultural management.
