Training workshop on “Operational Climate Services”

Regarding the Event: THE EVENT SHALL CONSISTS OF CLASS ROOM LECTURES/PRESENTATIONS ON CERTAIN BROAD THEMES , HANDS ON EXERCISES AND COUNTRY WISE PRESENTATION ON OPERATIONAL CLIMATE SERVICE BY RESPECTIVE PARTICIPANTS. THE BROAD THEMES, TO BE DISCUSSED ARE GIVEN BELOW: GFCS, CLIMATE PRODUCTS,STEPS TOWARDS IMPLEMENTATION OF OPERATIONAL CLIMATE SERVICES, CLIMATE SERVICES TOWARDS MAJOR SOCIETAL SECTORS, COMMUNICATION & QUALITY MANAGEMENT, CLIMATE SERVICES IN INDIA.
Regarding the Supports: IMD shall provide working lunch, Mid session tea/snacks to the participants on workshop days only. On request, IMD can arrange non A/C accommodations for the participants at the trainees hostel on payment basis @Rs350/- per day per person.
Travel, DSA, Medical insurance and other incidental expenditure have to be borne by the participants or their parent organizers only.
