Middle Meteorological Technicians Course (MMTC)

This course aims to equip trainees with basic knowledge and skills to accurately and objectively carry out routine meteorological and related observations expected of Middle Level Meteorological Technicians.The course will be offered by the Institute for Meteorological Training and Research (IMTR) is a designated WMO Regional Training Centre situated in Nairobi. It specializes in training and capacity building in Meteorology, Climate Data Processing, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Operational Hydrology and related sciences.
Eligible participants will be expected to have the following qualifications;
(i) a Credit in O-Level/KCSE Mean Grade C with minimum D+ in English, Mathematics and Physics or Physical sciences OR
(ii) WMO Class IV in Meteorology OR
(iii) An equivalent qualification from a recognized Training Institution.
