The EUMeTrain – EUMETSAT – EUMETCAL Marine Forecasting Course is a distance learning course (exclusively on-line) designed to train forecasters to improve the quality of marine forecasting and nowcasting through better use of satellite and model data.
This 3-4 weeks course will take place in November and will be composed of approximately 10 hours of lectures, complemented by work projects. The course is sponsored by EUMeTrain, EUMETSAT and EUMETCAL, with the goal of preparing forecasters in the core skills related to marine forecasts, and will be free of charge.
