Learning to Co-produce – L2CP

Learning to Co-produce (L2CP) is an on-line course, designed to
strengthen meteorologists’ engagement with decision-makers and
users. Drawn from a wide range of experience of developing weather
and climate services in countries and contexts across West
and East Africa, the course comprises 10 modules, providing:
1. A background on the process and principles of
co-production, illustrated by operational practice;
2. Approaches for conveying key climate concepts to
non-technical users;
3. Understanding the decision-making context and
supporting users in appropriately using weather and climate
information;
4. Monitoring and evaluation to demonstrate the impact of weather and
climate services.
