Objective of ESSL-EUMETSAT expert workshops are to dig deep into the scientific/operational value of new or enhanced products from MTG.
The first workshop topic was moisture retrievals using satellite-borne sensors (MODIS, OLCI, SLSTR; IASI) with a focus on the application of such data for forecasting convective storms through cases.
