ESSL-EUMETSAT Expert Workshop to Prepare Severe Convective Storm Testbeds

Introducing products from the MTG Lightning Imager (LI) to weather forecasting is a major undertaking for Europe. Generating training material and designing testbeds around LI is the task at hand. Drawing on the operational experience gathered in the GOES GLM field of view by U.S. and European forecasters is the objective of this workshop.
