ESA Colour and Light in the Ocean from Earth Observation (CLEO)

Bring together users and providers of ocean colour products from the SEOM, OC-CCI and MAPPS projects to provide input to, and feedback on, these products. Inputs and contributions from other relevant projects and activities are most welcome;
Discuss key science issues and make recommendations on the steps to be taken to develop and strengthen collaborations between communities engaged in space and in-situ observations, and marine ecosystem modeling;
Explore ways in which ocean colour products can be used to improve marine ecosystem models for climate studies;
Define a Scientific Roadmap identifying challenge areas and research priorities for future EO data exploitation activities and shape ideas for potential new ocean- colour products to be developed for climate research and ecosystem modelling in the era of the Sentinel-3 mission.
