EO Africa Webinar 4: Evapotranspiration from Space

This webinar is devoted to evapotranspiration (ET) monitoring with Earth Observation (EO) satellites and will cover the following:
– the concept of ET and its modelling (based on the FAO Penman (1948) – Monteith (1965) approach).
– demonstration of a large scale FAO ET dataset.
– explanation of a local scale Two-Source Energy Balance model and its application in the ESA SNAP software with the Sen-ET plugin.
-demonstration of a ESA’s Third Party Missions Programme Landsat-based approach.
