AUTH Training Workshop

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is organizing in cooperation with EUMETSAT the training workshop on the ‘Use of satellite data and products in studying and forecasting extreme weather events’. The workshop will focus on the use of processes, principles and practices, tools and products for studying and forecasting extreme weather events (such as thunderstorms, heavy rain, drought, fire hazard, etc.) based on satellite data.
The workshop is primarily aimed at participants from the south-eastern Europe and North African countries. Participants should have some knowledge or experience in satellite imagery interpretation.
