AmeriGEO – Use of Open Data for Estimating Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Land Cover Change

In the context of the SERVIR program’s ongoing Carbon Pilot (S-CAP for short), we are offering a short training webinar on estimating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from land cover change data, using open data sources.
The webinar’s format will include an overview of the S-CAP activity and background on bottom-up GHG emission estimation, and a hands-on demonstration activity using land cover data in Google Earth Engine (GEE).
