Short Term Refresher Course on Database Management & GIS

The Information Communication and Instrumentation Training Centre (ICITC), RTC New Delhi, is organizing a five working days online refresher training programme from 23rd to 27th March 2026 for departmental / extra-departmental personnel working as Scientists / Meteorological Technicians / Operators.
The programme will cover key topics in Database Management, including Introduction to Databases, Data Models, SQL, Web-based Data Management using PHP, Database using Python, and Query Processing.
The GIS & Remote Sensing component will include Introduction to GIS, Remote Sensing, Data Digitization, GIS Database Management, QGIS (Vector/Raster handling), Open-Source GIS Tools (Practical), and DSS Demonstration.
