The South-East Europe Meteorological Training (SEEMET) course is a regular training course organised by the SEEMET community, supported by EUMETSAT, EUMeTrain, ECMWF and Eumetcal. It aims to train forecasters from the NMHSs of Southeast Europe in using satellite data in everyday operational activities.
SEEMET 2026 will mainly focus on flash and urban floods, with one day training on wildfire monitoring. The training also serves as a user preparation event for Meteosat Third Generation (MTG).
