High-Latitude Event Week

EUMeTrain will hold a high-latitude event week from 30 January to 2 February 2023, focusing mainly on winter weather phenomena, usable satellite products, and ice forecasting in the high-latitudes. The subjects that will be covered, among others — polar lows, precipitation type product, road weather model (FMI), MTG & EFS-G, operational ice forecasting in the Baltic sea, OSI SAF products, icing in aviation weather forecasting, and challenges in the Nordic airports.
