Join us October 14/15 for EOTEC DevNet’s regional drought meet-ups, where we will explore the critical role of EO capacity building in catalyzing earlier action on drought management.
With the ongoing El Niño worsening drought conditions in many parts of the world, governments and communities are under pressure to anticipate the impacts, which can continue or intensify long after an El Niño event reaches its peak. But many agencies and institutions face challenges integrating game-changing EO data into their decision-making.
Through global and regional cases, the meet-ups will highlight emerging approaches and mechanisms that use EO to support anticipatory action on drought, along with lessons learned on building capacity to put them into practice.
