CHALLENGE CALL: AUSTRALIA – SOUTH EAST ASIA CLIMATE SMART INNOVATION HACKATHON

This event is part of the new Earth Observation for Climate Smart Innovation in South East Asia initiative, led by Geoscience Australia (GA) and Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO. The hackathon event provides a unique opportunity for Australian geospatial practitioners and South East Asian counterparts to work together to explore opportunities related to the development of industry-driven geospatial products and services.

The hackathon will support participants to develop pathways to market for Climate Smart use cases using Earth observation and cloud computing technology. Participants will have access to networking, business and commercialisation mentoring, plus technical workshops to learn how to use CSIRO’s Earth Analytics, Science and Innovation (EASI) platform, which offers scalable, cloud-based access to EO data and analytics.

Information Webinar Wednesday 13 July 3PM AEST:
Hear from several speakers about how Earth observation technology is creating real change for the world; about entrepreneurship for climate innovation; and about the impacts that climate change is already having in the South East Asia region. This is a great opportunity to collaborate, meet like-minded people in the sector, and do some exciting work that could take your business further, particularly if you are an Australian organisation working in the Earth observation sector.
